Eta Upsilon Chapter at North Carolina State University

Kappa Delta

Our Officers

Ellie Lorenz

President

Hi y’all! I’m Ellie Lorenz and I am a Junior, majoring in Applied Nutrition Science with minors in Psychology and Business Administration, from Greensboro, NC. I am so excited to serve as Chapter President this year! Previously, I served as Vice President of Operations, and loved getting to be the administrative liaison and biggest cheerleader of scholarship in our chapter. I am so grateful to serve our amazing chapter in a different role and for all the sisters, memories and opportunities I have received as a member of Eta Upsilon. I am excited to lead members to a greater and better Kappa Delta!

Carlie Higgins

VP- Member Education

Hi! My name is Carlie and I am a junior double majoring in Political Science and Communication! Rushing as a sophomore (and a transfer student) my first year in Kappa Delta was not like most girls in my pledge class. I decided to run for VP Member Education to ensure that every new member understands that no two sisters have the same KD experience, and that’s what makes it so special! This chapter has brought me so much in the time I have been here and I cannot wait to share it with all of our new members in the fall!

Morgan Whitman

VP- Membership

Hi! My name is Morgan Whitman, and I am a Junior currently majoring in Communication with a minor in Psychology. I was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania and while that will always be my hometown, I am truly blessed to have found my home away from home here at the Eta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Delta. I am so excited and honored to have been elected as VP-M. I cannot wait to lead such a wonderful group of women through a successful recruitment in the fall.

Alyson Salinas

VP- Operations

Hey guys! My name is Alyson Salinas and I am a sophomore majoring in statistics. I am so excited to be Vice President of Operations because it is an important aspect of our sorority. My job is to make sure our sisters have all the tools and support they need to succeed in school. I love Kappa Delta because it has brought me to a group of woman who love and care for their sisters so much. I always have someone to study with or if I am having a tough day there will always be someone to lift me up.

Carly Wilson

VP- Community Service

Hey! My name is Carly Wilson and I am a sophomore double majoring in History and Political Science. Community service has always been a crucial part of my life and characterizes a great deal of my outside involvement, so I am thrilled to be serving Eta Upsilon as Vice President - Community Service. KD has brought me to some of the truest women I know, who accept and support me in both the good and difficult times. I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead my sisters in the realm of community service and philanthropy, as I feel that giving back to our community truly brings us closer together!

Brianna Marquinez

VP- Public Relations

Hey hey hey! My name is Brianna Marquinez and I am a current sophomore at NC State studying English, with a double minor in Law and Justice and Spanish. I was eager to run for VP-PR of the Eta Upsilon chapter because I really want to be able to serve as a leader for the best group of girls I have ever known. With that being said, I genuinely want what is best for our chapter, and I am excited to be able to plan several events and run our social media platforms! This chapter will always have such a special place in my heart, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to give back to the chapter that gave me the best times of my life.

Chloe Boswell

Secretary

Hi! My name is Chloe Boswell, and I am a freshman here at North Carolina State University. I am studying Political Science and Criminology, and I am from Chesapeake, Virginia. I ran to be Secretary of our chapter as a way to be more involved as a new member, and to get to know these beautiful and strong women on a more personal level. As an out of state student, Kappa Delta has truly given me a reason to call North Carolina my new home because of the women in this chapter who accept me, love me, and have been (and will continue to be) genuine friends. I am so honored and blessed to have found such an amazing organization that will forever be something I cherish, something that will continue to be a part of us long after we graduate!

Callie Remmy

Panhellenic Delegate

Hey y’all! My name is Callie Remmy and I am a freshman in the Exploratory Studies Program. I have lived in North Carolina for my entire life, but the last 10 years I have been in Cary (only about 30 minutes away from campus). I am so blessed and super excited to serve as the Panhellenic Delegate for this chapter. As the PHD, I get the opportunity to be the voice of Kappa Delta when making Panhellenic decisions. This semester I am looking forward to strengthening our friendships with other sorority women and planning some fun sister sorority events. I am thrilled to be on council with nine of my amazing sisters and cannot wait to see all that we accomplish!
